The roller cone bit is made of metal raw material, with uniform and stable ventilation holes on the surface, and an industrial fabric with screening and filtering functions. The specifications of the roller cone bits are often expressed by the number of holes per unit length (mesh), and are also expressed by the width of each hole.

According to the raw materials used, roller cone bits are divided into three categories: silk roller bit, metal roller bit and synthetic fiber roller bit. The hole of the metal roller cone bit is clear and correct, the surface is flat and straight, and has the characteristics of high temperature resistance and wear resistance, and the roller cone bit is also resistant to corrosion. Therefore, metal roller cone bits are mostly used for powder screening and oil filtering. Synthetic fiber roller cone bits are available in nylon or polyester filament and brown.
